Keep East Bay pools clean, balanced, and running on a weekly route.
Posted June 25, 2026
Atlantis Pools is hiring a Pool Service Technician to maintain residential pools and spas on a regular weekly route across Danville and the surrounding East Bay.
This is a hands-on, route-based position for someone reliable and detail-oriented who takes pride in leaving every pool clean, balanced, and ready to enjoy. You will be the friendly, dependable face our customers see each week.
Atlantis Pools is a family-owned pool service and repair company serving Danville and the surrounding East Bay for more than 30 years. We work with high-quality residential customers throughout Danville, Alamo, San Ramon, Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda, Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore, and nearby communities.
We are looking for someone dependable, organized, and professional who can represent Atlantis Pools well in the field.
What you’ll do
- Clean residential pools and spas on a weekly route, including skimming, brushing, and vacuuming
- Empty skimmer and pump baskets and check water levels
- Test water chemistry and add chemicals to keep pools balanced
- Clean and maintain filters, and rinse or backwash as needed
- Inspect pumps, heaters, and equipment and flag anything that needs repair
- Keep clear notes and photos for each pool you service
- Communicate in a friendly, professional way with customers on-site
- Keep your vehicle, tools, and job sites clean, safe, and organized
Most days are spent outdoors, moving between pools on a set route. We provide training on our process, our water chemistry standards, and the equipment you will use.
What we’re looking for
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working outdoors and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record
- Able to follow a route, manage your time, and keep good records
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable talking with customers
- Pool service experience is a plus, but we will train the right person
Preferred experience
These are not all required, but they are a major plus:
- Prior pool service or route experience
- Knowledge of water chemistry and balancing
- CPO certification or other pool industry training
- Experience with high-end residential customers
Compensation and benefits
A good fit looks like this
You take pride in your work and like seeing a pool go from cloudy to crystal clear. You are dependable, you show up on time, and you do not cut corners. You enjoy being outside and working on your own once you know the route.
You communicate well, you keep your truck and tools organized, and you let the office know when something needs attention. Customers trust you because you are consistent and easy to work with.
Why work with Atlantis Pools?
Atlantis Pools is not a national chain or a high-turnover route shop. We are a local, family-owned East Bay company with a long reputation for quality service, reliable communication, and professional pool care.
You will work local routes close to home, with the truck, gas card, tools, work phone, and benefits you need to do the job right. For the right person, this is a steady, year-round opportunity to build a long career with a respected local company.
