Solar Pool Heating: Startup & Shutdown
We open and close your rooftop solar heating system so the panels warm your pool when you want the heat, and bypass them when you don't. $165 for either a startup or a shutdown.
Single-story roofs only. For safety, we only service rooftop solar panels on single-story homes. We're not able to access two-story or steep-pitched roofs.

- Open the solar valves to route water up to the rooftop panels
- Go up on the roof and inspect the panels & plumbing for cracks or leaks
- Set the timer so the system runs during peak sun for the best heat gain
- Confirm the pump, valves, and flow are all working properly
Solar Shutdown
$165Taking the panels offline so water bypasses the roof when you don't want the heat.
- Close the solar valves so water bypasses the rooftop panels
- Go up on the roof and inspect the panels & plumbing for cracks or leaks
- Reset the timer for normal, non-solar operation
- Verify the pump, valves, and flow are working properly
